The Inverse Security Camera


Wouldn’t it be nice to see the face of the security officer who is sitting in the urban space control room? That would be fair, right? While he, or probably she, is sitting in a protected area, we are being spied when walking in our natural habitat, unprotected. This concept by Linda Kanchev and Fabian Brunsing aims to bring this unnatural relation into debate. The monitor hanging under the camera broadcasts the control officer while sitting behind his monitor watching you. This enables possible communication, which makes the work for the officers less boring as well.
