The result of a student project of Avans University, the fitting rooms are currently being tested at a few DHL service points in The Hague and Amsterdam. When the idea turns out to be successful, more places will follow. DHL is not the only company launching this idea — Belgian postal service Bpost will soon open their first fitting room in a post office in Ghent. The question is: how awkward will customers feel about it? Physical retailers are currently experiencing a growing trend of people skipping the fitting room and trying their purchase at home. We’re curious to see how the project will develop.
