Forget Tents: It’s Pop-Up Lodging!

Camping is fun, but setting up and moving everything can overcome the peacefulness of sleeping in a natural environment away from the city. Shelter Co. is a pop-up lodging service for groups for an overnight outdoor experience. Based in California, Shelter Co. travels and sets up a camp wherever you want it, and if you don’t know where to look, Shelter Co. can get you a list of available properties both in Northern and Southern California.

“Our events provide the simple joys of stargazing, roasting marshmallows, and playing games without the hassles of a typical camping weekend.”

Each package is customized to the client’s needs, offering different tents ranging from basic tents and lounge and activity tents sitting up to 12 including a bar set up and a stocked library, to luxury tents with wood frames and real mattresses. Camps can be customized ‘à la carte’ allowing customers to add various facilities such as a movie theater, custom flags and poles, fire pits, you name it.

In my opinion, this much comfort defeats the point of camping. However, I can imagine these to be an unforgettable experience for events such as weddings or a company’s team-building trip.
