Bratislava’s Upside Down Highway

feel-the-difference-by-nl-architects-5
Dutch office NL Architects have transformed a boring and brutal modernist facade in Bratislava to an upside down highway. The project is presented at an exhibition of the work of NL Architects in the Slovenská Národná Galéria (Slovakia National Gallery) that is located behind the uplifted facade. The project, which is called ‘Feel the Difference’, is an attempt to invent a specific remarkable piece of propaganda for this building. The exhibition is titled Modernice’ and reflects on the theme of modernism, showing numerous projects of NL Architects in various stages of development.
