Wanted: Inspiring Projects!

To promote its upcoming Fortwo electric drive, car brand Smart travels Europe with the Smart Urban Stage.

The Smart Urban Stage is an international platform offering an exciting view on the future of the city. What will the future be like in urban areas and how will we move around? At the Smart Urban Stage leading visionaries from the areas of society, architecture, design, media, science and mobility come together and exchange their ideas of urban life. Each exhibition results in the smart future minds award honouring the most innovative project.

The Smart Urban Stage travels to Berlin, Rome, Zürich, Paris, Madrid, Brussels, Amsterdam and London until mid-2011. Next to the exhibitions, the specially built temporary spaces host events by creative movers and shakers – discussion panels, lectures, networking get-togethers or simply parties to celebrate their city. Everyone interested is cordially invited to participate. To enable visitors how the future feels like, they can take a ride in a Smart Fortwo electric drive.

We have been invited to be one of the curators for the Smart Urban Stage in Amsterdam. Our task is to select five inspiring Dutch projects, ideas and initiatives that touch upon innovative culture and society. Since we do not want to miss out on any inspiring concept, we would like to ask you: which project(s) should definitely be on our shortlist? Thanks in advance for your input!
