Stuttgart’s Pop-Up Skyscraper

The Lotto Turm is a temporary highrise constructed of stacked shipping containers at the Oesterreichische Platz in Stuttgart, Germany. This flexible skyscraper is meant to be there for five to ten years and will give the surrounding neighbourhood a new colourful impulse.

Responding to the Age of Experience, the experimental structure contains terraces, parks and even a capsule hotel. You have to create something remarkable in order to boost a neighbourhood and the initiators of this project understood this perfectly. Unfortunately, it’s still an unreleased project. Let’s hope they will succeed in the future.
