To promote the French NGO Action Contra la Faim (which translates to Action Against Hunger), TBWA France launched a billboard petition on the walls of a metro station in Paris.
The petition comes to the front in a series of billboards that show the dangers that volunteers face while they’re at work in war zones. Urbanites could sign on the last billboard to fight for these unprotected volunteers. It’s remarkable that an organization’s choice is to organize a petition in a subway station rather than online with a much wider audience. However, the fact that plenty of blogs already covered it proves that it’s a smart idea.
