Redesigning The Sky, Part 2

Rainbow Fighter
Talking about artificial rainbows effects, this picture here is really amazing. Its shot at Miramar Naval Air Station in San Diego, by Gary Johnson aka Madebackwards. The image shows an artificial rainbow produced under crazy circumstances: “as this FA/18 Super Hornet nears the sound barrier a huge compression wave forms as the moisture is forced from the air (a Prandtl-Glauert Singularity)”.

Technically it’s possible to re-define the cosmosphere and to transform the emptiness that we life in. We could add some color to the sky, but for some reasons this has never been a policy priority. Let’s rethink!
