Muscovites, watch out. This travelling roadshow might be coming to a back alley near you. Russian group BBBspaces have put together ‘On the Way’, a mobile cinema space that can be set up with ease anywhere in the city.
As shown in the photographs, the impermanent theatre re-uses materials in order to create the screen, the seating spaces, and, most importantly, the bar. Click here for more photos of this neat pop-up cinema project in Moscow.
The summer season is upon us in the Northern Hemisphere, so this is a fabulously-timed little initiative. I can’t think of anything I’d rather do than watch a film in an under-used parking lot in Moscow under the twilight. Cool!
