Charlotte Mann’s Hand-Drawn Wallpaper Designs

A messy environment can have destructive effects on your productivity, but isn’t a clinically white room also depressing? The British artist Charlotte Mann seems to have the solution. Mann paints densely detailed 1:1 scale drawings of rooms on wallpapers with a black marker.

Mann’s black and white drawing bring life to windowless rooms or plain white apartment walls. Nevertheless, her work is often exhibited in museums and she mainly works on commission. Among her many works some are temporary, such as the artwork she created on a wall of the School Of Life’s classroom.
