What do you absolutely love about your city? Show us! Launched yesterday at Blogging the City, the Philips Livable Cities #pinyourcity Pinterest Contest encourages you to get creative and capture what it is that makes your city livable and lovable through a series of images (photos, graphics, visuals). All you have to do is create a board on Pinterest which tells the story of what your city makes a great place to live in (it can be anything from the view of the skyline at night to the authentic streets or the open space) to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.
Boards can be submitted via www.pinyourcity.philips.com or via the @LivableCities Twitter handle (including the #tag and board title in the tweet).
- To enter, you must re-pin the #pinyourcity contest image and use the #pinyourcity #tag
- Members of the panel will have a dedicated image on the #pinyourcity contest board.
- Team up with one of the panelists (preferably with us!) by re-pinning an image (our image!) onto your contest entry board!
A panel of city experts, including us, will judge a shortlist of entries and the top 10 winners will be determined by those which are the most imaginative, original and inspiring. Other jury members are Philips’ Creative Director Thomas Marzano, Peter Sigrist (Polis), Francesca Miazzo (CITIES), Gem Barton (Futurespace), Martijn de Waal (The Mobile City), James Davidson (We Heart), Alisha Levin (BMW Guggenheim Lab), Ariel Schwartz (Fast Company), Charlie Hilton (Urban Times), Rob Alderson (It’s Nice That), and David Lepeska (Monocle/Atlantic Cities).
