(Er kan ook in het Nederlands gereageerd worden!)
We are Golfstromen, a creative agency from Amsterdam. Founded in 2007, we do marketing campaigns, urban design, events, interaction design, web development and publishing. We develop innovative concepts for urban life and culture, as well as new strategies and concepts for campaigns and events. Our clients include Archis, Smart, HP and the Rotterdam Police Department. Since 2008 we’ve been passionately running this blog, The Pop-Up City, and we curate and organize the notorious PechaKucha series in Amsterdam. Guess what? We’re looking for two interns to join our team!
We’re specifically looking for interns who can contribute to the The Pop-Up City and other projects for period of at least three months. You will be mainly involved with blogging, editing and organizational and research work. You’re required to have decent English editorial and writing skills and a passion for architecture, urbanism, design, technology and lifestyle. We like city-lovers, innovators, people who are the first to hear about new cool stuff and like to write about it in a passionate way. It would be great if you know a bit about content management systems, specifically WordPress.
What do we offer?
We offer a great learning experience and a lot of practical work with big responsibilities and opportunities to share thoughts and generate creative input. You will also have the chance to publish posts and articles on various online magazines including this blog, that has a monthly reach of more than 80,000 people.
We are a small office with interesting projects and a great network in the spatial, cultural and creative scene in Amsterdam. We are located in a great dynamic area in North Amsterdam that accommodates a wide variety of artists, creative people and small offices working in the fields of culture, architecture and design. Involvement in our projects will ensure a good introduction to the creative and cultural scene in Amsterdam.
If you are interested in an internship, please write an email with your background and motivation to firstname.lastname@example.org, together with your resume and what else you find important (favorite website, biggest source of inspiration, you name it). Applications in both Dutch and English are welcome. Deadline: Monday 27 February, 2012. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
