Street Art Appears When It Rains

Seattle-based artist Peregrine Church has created around 30 pieces of street art that only appear when it rains. By this he hopes to cheer up people when the weather is gloomy.

For the creation of his Rainworks he sprayed a water-repellant coating onto sidewalks through a stencil so when the sidewalk gets wet (when it rains) the regular concrete turns darker while the concrete he sprayed the coating on stays dry and shows public messages, pictures and games.
