French street artist Ox has made a great work along a highway in San Bernardino in California. This creation is his first digital artwork since he became famous for his marvelous paintings on analogue billboards in different cities around Europe. Some of his projects were covered here before. Most of his works are minimal pieces of art that confront passers-by who are normally confronted with shouting and over-designed commercial advertising.
This work of Ox is part of the so-called Billboard Art Project, which is currently running on diverse billboards along highways in the United States. Ninetyfive artists were invited to present art non-stop on huge digital LED billboards. For our friend Justus Bruns and his Times Square to Art Square project this must be very encouraging!
