Human Pixel Screen

This is cheerleading taken to another level — a human pixel screen which is one of the most amazing group performances I’ve ever seen. And it would never have been there without the presence of the LCD screens providing us with our ‘necessary’ portion of advertising messages in public space. A lot of physical elements of our lives turn digital these days, but the other way around digital concepts are taken back into the physical world. This performance is done by a group of South-Korean High school students cheering for their soccer teams. The choreography is absolutely amazing and must have taken a lot of Asian discipline, particularly taking into account that these students are able to do this with their clothes only (they’re not holding up cards). All participants wear a two color jacket — one color on the back, one color on the front. In addition, they can open or close their jacket to show a third color on their shirt.
