An Indoor Tree For A Greener Future
In order to support a more sustainable atmosphere on the work floor, Vanabbetotvessem (a Dutch marketing and communication office) has designed the Binnenboom (Indoor Tree). The Binnenboom can be installed in almost every office in the world, as it takes the prototypical office ceiling system as a starting point. The project is explained as a contribution to make the world greener. Each company that adopts the tree is said to contribute to the working environment, but also to a better planet and a more sustainable image towards clients. This description is a little ironic and can be easily considered a funny critic on the current worldwide ‘green-washing’ trend.

There is this company in new york called the Plafond Group that specializes is stretch ceilings. I must say that this is the best technology i have ever seen.
