The Phone Box Experiment

In The Netherlands we don’t have callable phone booths, so as a youngster I was fascinated by American thrillers in which someone passed a public telephone that suddenly got called. Most of the times the hell broke loose as soon as that curious pedestrian answered the call. (I think you all know the movie Phone Booth.) That’s the reason why Rob’s project immediately grabbed my attention.

Rob Cavazos is a 28 year old Mexican guy who’s conducting an experiment he wants you to be part of. He found a phone booth in the middle of nowhere in Spain, and decided to camp next to it as long as he can hold out. As far as I know he’s still there and waiting for your supportive calls. “I’m always up for meeting new people so just give me a call.” Rob speaks German, Spanish and English and can be reached at +34951055675.
